Privacy policy

Claude Code Guide is independently operated by an individual. This policy describes the site's current data practices and separately explains what would change if Google AdSense is enabled.

Current site operation

The site is a static information website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Loading a page necessarily sends network information, including the requested URL, IP address, browser and device information, to Cloudflare so it can deliver and protect the site.

The site currently has no user accounts, forms, first-party analytics, advertising scripts, consent platform, or application API. The site code does not currently set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. A browser and hosting provider may still process technical request data required to deliver the site.

Google advertising is currently disabled

Google AdSense is not loaded by the site's default build. No Google advertising request or visible advertising placeholder is created while the advertising gate is closed.

The site will not enable production advertising until this policy is published, a valid publisher ID is configured, the relevant consent mechanism is ready, and production use is explicitly authorized.

Data involved if Google AdSense is enabled

If AdSense is enabled in the future, Google and participating third parties may place or read cookies in your browser, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers. They may use this information to serve and measure ads, limit how often ads appear, produce aggregated reports, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalize ads when you have made an applicable consent choice.

Non-personalized ads do not use past behavior for ad targeting, but Google states that they may still use cookies or identifiers for frequency capping and aggregated reporting.

Consent and advertising choices

The planned advertising scope is global. Before serving personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the site will use Google's certified Privacy & messaging consent management platform. Advertising behavior follows the user's recorded choice. Users must be able to reject consent, manage options, and revisit their choice.

Until that consent configuration is verified, advertising remains disabled. Consent requirements can vary by location and do not disappear merely because an ad is non-personalized. When advertising is enabled, the Privacy and cookie settings control in the footer of pages displaying ads reopens the consent choices.
